Oh no!  Dripping that sounds like it’s coming from inside the walls?  From air conditioner runoff, to roof leaks, to leaky pipes, to toilet problems to clogged gutters, there are a number of reasons why homeowners may experience a leak within their walls.  But not all leaks can be heard.  Some leaks can be seen, such as by peeling wallpaper/paint, stains on the wall, discoloration, etc., and some go completely unnoticed.

If you’re experiencing dripping water, you know the first thing you want to do is identify the source.  Often times, narrowing down the root of the dripping can be quite a process.  Luckily, we’ve mastered the art of leak detection here at Plumbing Experts.  We utilize a number of methods and equipment, such as line locators, cameras, thermal imaging and more to “see-through” walls.

Plumbing Experts was recently called to a residence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after the homeowner was hearing a constant drip in his wall.  As it turned out, our plumber determined the problem was with old pipes in the walls.  The corroded pipes were removed and replaced with PVC pipes, as they are corrosion-resistant and yield a longer service lifespan.
