When many think new construction, it’s common to believe that issues arising in the home are usually few and far between.  New means everything will be in perfect condition, right?  Well…this is unfortunately not always the case.  Here at Plumbing Exerts, we’ve seen our share of new construction homes that had plumbing issues right from the start.

Plumbing Experts was recently called to a new construction home in Jupiter, Florida.  As it turns out, there was a major issue with the sewer line backup.  The plumber on the job snacked the lines and ran a TV camera through in order to investigate the situation.  Ultimately, he determined that their Toto electric toilet had to be pulled and reset because the toilet flange was cracked, allowing sewer water to seep through the crack onto the tiles and broken pipe leading into the toilet.  This was causing toilet paper to get stuck in the pipe and cause stoppages as well.  It was crucial that this issue was caught early enough, because had it not been caught right away, the damage could have been much worse.
